You’ll never be in the History!

(You’ll never be in the History!)
A letter to Ms. Sawsan Taqawi
I would have really liked to congratulate you before the King, But you did not win, I would have really liked to run against you in this area, But you did not Compete. The justice minister says you by acclamation. which means by 100% and as if the people consent all their voices to you. The presidents of the Arab countries before the Arab spring use to win by 99% in which you surpassed them. I cannot say that i congratulate you. For the same reason that the Arab people were not able to congratulate the rulers, in short, Because their voices were usurped, and I say to you painfully, you usurped my voice and the voices of those i represented them by 87.71% in the period from October 2010 till February 2011.
Up until February, I was the MP of this area which the government acclamated you on. An MP that was chosen by the free votes of people, because i grew up on the hands of the elders in this area, they saw me entering this area step by step, i was not sent down from the skies of the government. I learned a lot from them, absorbed their pain that they still carry, approached their hopes for change, We became one, i became one with their long history and their dream of decent living, i became like them, before i represented them, i had to carry the weight of their votes that were close to 12 thousand votes. I ask did you really win them all?
Ms. Sawsan
Excuse me, I cannot call you MP, because representing all the people, is posed by their will, they alone have the right to grant you this title, the votes of the people in the eleven villages in the area have the legitimacy of the selection and authorization. Please go to them when the night reaps over them, listen to their free shouts what it wants. and to hear the gunshots of the government how it responds to them.
When your heart can hear their screams in the dark, the feminist part of you will guide you to the truth that is within you that made you an MP.
Stand in front of a mirror and ask it: Do i represent them? Am i their voice? Am i part of these villages that breathe the tear gas everyday? Do I represent that their women that got violated by the forces of the government that blessed me? Am i the one who will help them taste freedom?
Ms. Sawsan
How proud i would have been if you actually represented the Bahraini women, That woman who believes in change and the people’s right to an elected government and a contracted constitution in which the Kingdom is run by the people’s voices, But I’m indeed sadden, because you accepted to be used by the government and cover up the failure that awaited it at the ballot boxes, and covering up the true representation of the Bahraini women that i am proud of and believe in her right to enter by her own free will the parliament.
I am sorry to tell you, that history will place you among the obstacles to the democratic transformation in my country, It will be told that your voice was over the people and not with the people, and that the government fed you the words to silence the people that cheered against the tyranny and discrimination against them and the corruption. History will tell how you were a tool that did not have any power over the people or the tyranny of the government. A cover that was put by the government, to cover the exposed truth by the withdrawal from the parliament which is no longer able to protect the lives and the voices and the property as a legislative authority. It no longer has the ability to control where the lives of the martyrs and the state property is still lost.
Do you expect that the political history of this island, will say: There were four candidates who believed in democracy and the rights of women all pulled out at the same time for one woman, a woman that has the confidence of the government and the prime minister in the parliament, and lacks the confidence of her people?
Ms. Sawsan
You will never be part of history, and i’ll leave my letter to history. To remind those who will come after us, how much we gave for our democracy, Its worthy of our history in the struggle on this island.
